About the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB)

The IRB is Canada's largest independent administrative tribunal, deciding refugee, immigration, and admissibility matters. It has four divisions: the Refugee Protection Division (RPD), Refugee Appeal Division (RAD), Immigration Division (ID), and Immigration Appeal Division (IAD).
