The Newfoundland and Labrador Express Entry Skilled Worker category allows nominating qualified employees who received a job offer, through the federal Express Entry system. Potential immigrants who have been registered with the Federal Express Entry system may apply for the Newfoundland and Labrador Express Entry Skilled Worker category. Individuals nominated for this program will receive additional points on the Comprehensive Ranking System, and as a result, will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
Skilled Worker Category
The NLPNP accepts applications in this category from individuals who have received a job offer from an employer in the province. Individuals who are currently working in the province with a valid work permit may also apply in this category.
International Graduate Category
This category is designed for individuals who graduated from an accredited university or college in Canada, who remain in the country with a postgraduate work permit. Candidates are required to have a job or job offer from an employer in the province, and the position must be related to their completed education.
